hl.exe & steam.exe [Malware Detected]

I'm currently having hl.exe and steam.exe malware detected. I'm now scanning my whole computer to see if something is detected for real. Never had this before and i don't know what the problem could be. Any other suggestions? I won't be able to run cs or steam now... Probably more programms are following but i can't say which of them.

delete steam and cs but not the maps and sound

Verify your cs and hl files.. and make sure it's not a false positive (just do what rusher said)

Exact same happened to me. My pc has been scanning for an hour now. Just came on here to see if anyone else might have reported such a problem, and lmao, someone has xD

yea. It was scanning for some hours. When I got back and started steam, it said the same thing but this time it didn't ask me to restart for a scan.

Fixed already for like 10 hours now, forgot to tell you guys it was because of Avast. Stenudd helped me with it. Avast was the freakin problem with his false positives...
