    Special Treatment

    Hey there guys. :)

This thread in General Talk is really important to me.

I wanna talk about the special treatment that has been going on a couple of times, and I just want everything to be as fair as it can get. I'm pretty sick of this special treatmeant thing... It's very nice but it's not fair, not to me, not to anyone.

I have a few requests which I hope you guys agree with me...

    1. Treating female gamers any different compared to others like giving them special rights / special treatment.

    I'll give a simple example;
    - Imagine were currently playing "Simon says" in Jailbreak. And if the female doesn't follow his command or didn't hear him (or whatever the reason is) please DO NOT give another chance because again, that'd be special treatment which is wrong. If it was a guy you wouldnt give him a second chance (unless he's your friend, but then that's where the special treatment part comes in)

    2. To the admins + members of mY.RuN; If your friend's break a rule, please don't act like nothing happened and DO something about it, even if it's your closest friend / friend's, they have no right to have special rights compared to everyone else just because they're good friends with the admins or members. We all have to follow the rules no matter what. Rules are what's keeping the game fair and square. Such as "No flaming & disruptive behavior / insulting / Sexual harassment".¨

I've been through this a lot of times and I really don't want to go through it repeatly again.

i agree with Miss Beth, but im not giving special threatments, but seen many who do it.
it's always a problem on jailbreak servers, but it shouldnt be, if u kill ur m8, it's not cause u dont like him, just cause he failed.

I don't give special treatments. I just warn several times before I ban someone.

That's really good sucko. That's how an admin should be. Because a good admin always warn the player first before taking any actions.

Have to disagree, at some points its not really neccassary to give warnings, if they do things that they could know if they read the rules wisely. Because of the "Rule-Accept"-Plugin I assume that they read those rules and understood them, otherwise they shouldn't play with us/accept them, and If they do, they have to learn the rules by hard and deal with the consequences.

If we talk about other things it's obvious that warnings are good.

I'm sorry but I don't agree with that. Even though they might already know the rules and then break them,
they still need to be warned before getting themselves kicked out / banned just like that.

Because then they know this is their last chance and if they screw up again they're doomed and know they have to take up the future punishment that you'll be giving them (ban), and they have a chance to atleast try to behave and follow the rules.

BUT! If they keep on going then you know "Aha! So he really is a rule breaker" and that's when you step in and do something about it. If they refuse your warnings and completely ignore them, then yes it's time for a kick / ban. And hopefully a future permanent ban if they keep on breaking the rules after keep coming back from the current ban they just had, and then break the rules again. That is when the permanent ban comes in.

i would say, when it comes to banning/kicking/slaying, slay is a bit of a warning, transfer is aswell, kicking isnt as bad either, but they should get like a small warning, b4 getting banned, but it still depends on what their doing ofc. - no tolerance on freekilling, atleast if it's not an acident.

But special treatment in game, warnshooting people is a bit of a special treatment, cause some people u might just kill, and some warnshoot, = special treatment. If they aint listening to my commands, i dont wanna hear whine about i didnt warnshoot them first, cause im nice compared to alot of other ct's.

    liar.

anyway, If you look at the "Ban list" you can see that almost everyone that is banned from the jailbreak server is banned for either Freekill or Teamkill (maybe some insulting). But no matter what situation there is, the admin need to take a conclusion. Is this a person that just want to have fun teamkilling/freekilling beacuse the person don't know the mod, there are no need to warn them.(No need to give warnings towards people who insults either). But, as shouty says. You have to see how the situation is built up.
